Yields fell on the three-month Albanian Treasury bills sold at an auction on Tuesday, the central bank said.
The Bank of Albania, which auctions government securities on behalf of the Finance Ministry, offered 1.7 billion leks ($19.23 million/13.95 million euro) in T-bills, but sold 1.63 billion leks worth of T-bills as dealers placed bids for 1.69 billion leks. The T-bills produced a weighted average yield of 5.78%, down 5.80% from the previous auction held last week.
The central bank auctions lek-denominated three-month T-bills on Tuesdays and six-month and 12-month T-bills twice a month, also on Tuesdays.
