TIRANA, Oct. 3 – The National Council of Radio and Television fined some private television stations that have illegally broadcast programs taken from foreign media outlets. Cable TV AVN in Fier and that in Saranda were cut in half the license timing, while the Shijak TV station was fined with 300,000 leks. This is another effort by the council to stop pirated programs in the country.
