TIRANA, July 28 – Albanian Foreign Ministry thanked the United States embassy in Tirana for financially contributing to assist the government to extinguish fires that have broken our throughout the country.
The U.S. embassy has assisted Albania with funding the payment of the rent of planes and helicopters that will be used to extinguish fires.
An Antonov 32 plane came from Ukraine Friday following a request from the Albanian government.
The plane has a team of ten persons and may carry up to eight tons of water.
