Kurum launches 120 Mln EUR output boost to Albanian operation

TIRANA, March 21–Kurum, a Turkish steelmaker, launched a 120-million-Euro investment in a new smelter and integrated filtration plant at a ceremony to mark a decade of operations in Albania.
“This investment sets secure standards in environmental protection. With it, the company increases smelting capacity of 50,000 tons to 900,000 tons, turning Albania into one of the most important countries for steel output in the region,” Premier Sali Berisha said.
The ceremony was attended by Berisha and cabinet members
