TIRANA, April 29 – Economy and Energy Minister Genc Ruli signed Tuesday a concessionary deal with a Slovenian consortium made up of Interenergo Albania sh.p.k., Poteza Skupina d.d and SGP Pomgrad d.d for the construction of six hydropower stations at the Shala River in northern Albania.
The total capacity of the six power stations will be 127,6 Mw and the annual production will be 530.3 million KWh. They are to be built in three years. An annual fee of seven percent of their production will be given for free as a form of payment.
