Two petrol-terminal ports ready for inauguration

Two petrol-terminal ports, the Petrolifera in the vicinity of Vlor묠and Porto Romano in the vicinity of Durr쳠have completed the adaptation and construction process and are ready for inauguration. The local press (Shqip, 26.05.2009) believes that the inaugurations will be carried out in the first week of June, quoting the 3rd and the 6th of June respectively. Starting from this time, no company will be allowed to bring petrol or hydrocarbures to the other existing ports in Durr쳬 Sarand묠Sh쯧jin and Vlor뮍
The Petrolifera, in the vicinity of the main port of Vlor련the commercial port), and Porto Romano in the vicinity of Durr쳠(the commercial and passenger port) will be in the future the only ports to shelter petrol and gas cargoed ships. This specialization is reported to have been decided for security reasons as well as for business facility goals, concentrating all the deposits in two petrol-terminal ports that will be run by private enterprises.
