Romania and Albania deepen their economic relations

TIRANA, June 3נA meeting at the intergovernmental level took place in Bucharest between Albania and Romania aiming to intensify economic, scientific, and technical collaboration between the two countries. Increased integrated efforts among the governments was sought to be achieved at the bilateral, multilateral, regional, and international level in the future.
During the meeting, Romania confirmed its support for Albanian efforts toward its integration into European Union.
Albania became the newest NATO member early this April and soon after handed over its official request to gain the candidate status for adherence to EU.
