TIRANA, June 17؁fter several negotiations, the respective governments of Albania and Italy agreed on the construction of the Shkoder-Hani i Hotit road. The contract was signed by the Albanian Ministry of Public Affairs and the Italian Embassy with an investment value of 150,000 euros.
The Italian loan will cover the cost of the project, its implantation and supervision. The new road will be an improvement over the existing road. The project involves three stages of implementation: entrance to Shkodra with the necessary exit lanes for traffic circulation; the widening and general improvement of the existent interurban road; and the requalification of the urban roads in the city of Koplik with all the required standards.
