World Bank pledges support for new Albanian government

TIRANA, Sep 16ؗorld Bank will continue to support Albania, Camille Nuamah, the organization’s permanent representative to the country said while congratulating Prime Minister Sali Berisha as he begins a new term in office.
According to the prime minister’s press office, Nuamah expressed the willingness of the World Bank to continue further productive cooperation with the Albanian government, during an official meeting she had with Berisha.
She assured the prime minister that the World Bank will continue with the same devotion to complete existing projects, as well as beginning new projects, based on his development strategy for the country.
Nuamah also offered assistance for repairing three schools that were damaged in an earthquake, as well as assistance in the health care sector and on environmental issues.
