Swiss architectural firm Lerman wins tender for Berat urban plan

TIRANA, Sep 23،erman of Switzerland was named the winning architectural company in a tender for a new urban development plan for the city of Berat, local newspaper Gazeta Shqiptare reported.
The project aims to define the priorities for the city’s development over the next 20 years.
Berat Mayor, Fadil Nasufi, expressed his optimism for the project, which will end urban chaos created in recent years.
Berat, a town located in south-central Albania with a population of 45,500, was added to the World Heritage List in July 2008.
