Mr. Bricolage to expand its branding in Western Balkan

SOFIA, Oct 27؂ulgaria’s Doverie Brico said it has extended by 10 years its franchise deal with French do-it-yourself retail chain Mr. Bricolage.
As a strategic partner for the Balkan region, Doverie Brico will continue to develop the DIY brand in Bulgaria, Serbia, FYROM, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo, the company said in a statement on Monday.
Doverie Brico’s unit in Serbia, Brico Spec,is due to open its first Mr. Bricolage outlet in the city of Nish in December with further rollouts planned for the cities of Belgrade, Novi Sad and Subotica over the next five years, the statement said.
Briko Iliria, Doverie Brico’s Albanian arm, will open its first Mr.Bricolage store in the capital Tirana in 2010, it added.
Doverie Brico, set up in 1999, operates 10 stores in Bulgaria.
