PM pushes for faster implementation of EC financed projects

Under the chairmanship of Premier Berisha was convened today the Strategic Planning Committee, which took under discussion a serious of important projects, financed by European Commission, aiming at their quick finalization.
In his address, the Premier said that Ministry of Integration, which supervises the progress of projects, has selected, together with the Department of Coordination of Strategies and Foreign Aid, these projects and has presented them at the Committee for a more detailed review.
The Premier highlighted that in some cases, due their complexity, it is necessary a new approach to these projects. “Some of these projects have been implemented for eight yesars. They have been discussed before, but this meeting should give a final response”.
Making evident the presence of such projects dating back to 2002 or 2003, the Premier underlined that it is very important to give an response to entire problematic of these projects, in order to be implemented as soon as possible. “In some cases, the supervision of the projects might need to be changed, but this meeting will discuss everything”.
