TIRANA, May 4 – A contemporary Italian ballet called “I Bislachi” was premiered on Tuesday at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet as parts of events dedicated to late renowned Italian director Federico Fellini. The ballet by Italian choreographer and director Monica Casadei brought Italian ballet dancers Chiara Ameglio, Pieradolfo Ciulli, Vittorio Colella, Gloria Dorliguzzo, Sara Mucioli and Emanuele Serrechia performing in Tirana.
The show was intended to rebuild typical environments and characters from the Felini’s visual universe.
Federico Fellini, one of Italy’s most internationally renowned director, was commemorated in Albania for five days in an event at the Palace of Culture in Tirana where some of his best movies will be screened for the public.
The event will opened with the screening of the “La Dolce Vita” movie, which celebrated its 50th anniversary of release. Italian film critic Roberto Chiesi also held a discussion on La Dolce Vita, Felini’s most popular movie.
