Germany finances rural water supply program

TIRANA, July 7 – The German government will finance 10 million euros for the second stage of the rural water supply program in Albania. The financing will be implemented through KfW and the Albanian Development Fund, said the Finance Ministry.
The program’s second stage will provide water supply to the northern and northeastern regions of Dibra, Kukes and Shkodra.
The implementation of this program will contribute to the economic development of these areas, the poorest in Albania.
According to the Albanian Development Fund, some 45 villages will benefit from the program.
