TIRANA, Oct. 18 – Police arrested Vangjo Nicka, 47, and accused him of smuggling goods.
Police found a considerable amount of clothes, at a cost of 600,000 euros, that are believed to have been smuggled across the border from neighboring Macedonia without paying the customs.
He later sold them at the retail market in capital Tirana.
Besides police also started punishment procedures for three policemen working at the border crossing in Pogradec. They were accused of abuse of post.
