TIRANA, Sept. 14 – International painters from different countries are displaying their works in the “Art Essence” exhibition at the gallery of visual art in Durres. Through a diversity of landscapes, compositions and portraits, the participants come from New Zealand, Sweden, Great Britain, Turkey, Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania. They say they welcomed the invitation for this exhibition, which will be opened for one week in the newest gallery in the city of Durres. “The exhibition has several authors. They mainly come from abroad, and the number of Albanian artists is smaller. Some guests from Macedonia are absent. We are presenting our art for your pleasure,” said Miradije Ramiqi, painter from Kosovo. “I am deeply honored to be part of ‘Art Essence’ exhibition, because this would serve in exchanging art, ideas and novelties among painters, and why not even among the countries we come from,” said Sefkat Islegent, Turkish painter. “Art Essence” is the eleventh exhibition since the inauguration of the gallery in May. The Gallery of Visual Art in Durres has been visited by nearly 6000 foreign and Albanian visitors.
