TIRANA, Jan. 17 – Search engine giant, Google, is now also offering its services in Albanian. Icons such as Search, Images, Translate, Blogger and Sign In are now available in Albanian at google.al.
A full version of Google in Albanian is expected while it remains unknown if the internet giant intends to open a representation office in Albania.
The .al domain is offered by the Albanian Electronic and Postal Communications Authority (AKEP). Since Google was founded in 1998, it has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of users and customers around the world. Today Google has more than 70 offices in more than 40 countries around the globe.
