In a departure from tradition, which saw deputy ministers usually get appointed quietly by ministers themselves without much public presentation, the current 33 deputy ministers of the ‘Rama 2’ cabinet were announced as publicly as possible during the Assembly of the Socialist Party. A typical party meeting was definitely a curious venue and time for a team which according to the Prime Minister himself signals an attempt to look outwards, a break from tradition of picking party people.  The deputies are at the core of his so personal political project called ‘PS Plus’- some loosely defined attempt to govern more…
