TIRANA, Nov. 4 – “A landscape without horizon” is the newest exhibition that has opened at the Zeta art gallery in Tirana featuring works by painter Shpetim Kerà§ova.
In last year’s Super Market Stockholm Independent Art Fair in Sweden, Kerà§ova was one of the artists representing Albania with some paintings as part of his “Flatten still life’ series reflecting the visual culture in the consumerism era.
Born in Durres, Kerà§ova, 47, lives and works in Tirana where he also teaches at the University of Arts.
In 2011, he was the second prize winner of the Onufri visual arts competition. He has also exhibited in Italy, Germany and Austria.
The exhibition at the Zeta gallery will be open from Nov. 10 to 20.
Since its launch in 2007, the Zeta art gallery has become among the few private galleries with a tight agenda of events focusing on visual arts and young contemporary artists, providing huge contribution to their support and promotion.
