TIRANA, Feb 3 – Four international banks have submitted their bids to lend the Albanian government 200-250 million Euros.
The four bidders are Deutsche Bank, Citi Group, Credit Suisse and Raiffeisen.
The state’s evaluation committee will study the offers on the basis of interest rates and repayment periods.
The last loan contracted by the Albanian government two years ago was for 230 million Euros at 5.2%.
The government will use the money to pay the building contract of the Rreshen-Kalimash road segment that is expected to be completed midyear.
