Albania evacuates citizens from Egypt

TIRANA, Feb. 1 – Interior Ministry said Tuesday that they had sent a charter plane to evacuate from Egypt about 100 Albanian citizens being there.
Out of them 20 were policemen following a training course there.
Foreign Ministry also advised citizens to avoid going to Egypt or, if there, to stay away from the places of protests in the Egyptian capital.
At least 35 charter flights left Cairo early Tuesday, ferrying thousands of passengers to Europe as well as elsewhere in the Middle East, an airport official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because she was not authorized to brief the media.
