Albania-FYR Macedonia to fully liberalize trade in agricultural products

TIRANA, April 12؍acedonian, Albanian Ministers of Economy – Fatmir Besimi and Dritan Prifti – agreed Saturday in Tirana to speed up a procedure for verifying the additional Protocol on further liberalization of the bilateral trade of agricultural products within CEFTA, so that it may enter into force on 1 July of 2010.
Under the Protocol, overall FYRMacedonia-Albania trade of agricultural products will be customs free.
Besimi and Prifti also discussed possibilities for boosting the cooperation in the energy sector and development of the infrastructure for the Corridor VIII, the Ministry of Economy said Sunday in a press release.
