Albania, Kosovo work toward a joint energy market

A combination of output is a great opportunity for cooperation between the two countries, officials say.

TIRANA, March 29 – Albania and Kosovo are working intensively to turn the two countries into one common energy market in the region, according to statements last weekend from the energy ministers of both countries at a meeting in Prishtina.
Albania’s government, in power since September last year, has pledged to turn words into action in the efforts of closer ties with Prishtina. It is working on joint agreements in several different fields.
