Nov 13 — Albania and Macedonia on Tuesday (November 11th) agreed to lobby the EU together to secure financial aid for Corridor 8, an infrastructure project to link the two countries.
Albanian Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli proposed the idea during a meeting with Macedonian counterpart Trajko Veljanovski in Skopje.
Topalli praised Macedonia’s efforts to move closer to EU membership and said she hopes the country will soon join Albania and Croatia in receiving an invitation to join NATO.
