Albania meets with donors

TIRANA, Nov 17 – The Albanian government held last week a roundtable with the group of donor countries and institutions.
The Albanian team headed by Deputy Prime Minister Genc Pollo introduced the country’s reforms towards its goals of becoming a NATO member and hopefully of the European Union in the future.
Preparations for the upcoming general elections were also part of the introduction.
Fighting corruption and organized crime, justice, decentralization, reforms in education and health services were the main topics of discussion.
