Albania rising as a realty haven for foreigners

TIRANA, Jan 12 – The realty industry in Albania is experiencing great progress as foreign investors seek to inject massive capital into the embryonic property sector of the country.
That the eastern part of the European continent is relatively unexplored during these times of increasing globalization has been increasingly discussed.
The region has turned into a hub of foreign investor.
Albania may soon receive its NATO membership and is slowly progressing toward EU membership.
Those two integration efforts can, however, play an important role in promoting progress in the property segment in the country.
As has happened to other eastern countries, members of both the EU and NATO integration processes will ensure considerable appreciation in real estate over the next 5 to 10 years.
