Albania and Kosovo will participate at the 10th edition of the International Cultural Festival Balkan Trafik which will take place in Brussels from April 14-17, 2016. Supported by the Albanian Ministry of Culture in cooperation with Albanian Embassy in Brussels, Albania will be represented by the well-known singer Vikena Kamenica, Keli Band, and Ali Pasha folk Group.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Albanian community in Belgium, Kosovo, Macedonia, etc. will also be represented. Kosovo will me represented by Dren Abazi and well-known band Zig Zag. “Apart from the official Concert on 16 April in the afternoon at Bozar , the Albanian artists will be Special Guests and perform at the most characteristic Square “ Grande Place” on 17 April at 12:00 Hours and in other venues, together with the dancers of Vatra.”
Albanian Youth Association Ensemble Vatra in Brussels will also be part of the program contributing with various songs and dances from all Albanian regions while Macedonia will be represented with folk group Rinia. In the frame of the program Oscar nominated film Shok will be screened and in cooperation with the National Tourism Agency, a tourist booth with touristic guides of Albania will be remain open throughout the program’s duration.
