TIRANA, March 31 – Police reported that their Dutch counterparts had extradited Dritan (Gramoz) Rexhepaj, 28, to Albania. His apprehension was based upon an international arrest warrant issued after his fleeing from an Albanian police station in 2006.
Rexhepaj was accused of murder when he, together with other persons, shot and killed two policemen in Kruje.
He was also wanted for other grave crimes in Albania and Italy, according to police.(Tirana Times Staff)
