TIRANA, June 5 – Painter Edmond Tullumani has created 60 paintings divided into four cycles which he is displaying at the National Museum of History in Tirana. The exhibition includes painings of well-known Albanian patriotic figures, landscapes from Albanian regions and works based on folklore motifs.
“One year ago I opened my first Music in Painting exhibition. This is the second exhibition. When you’ve got a clear idea and a motif, work progresses a lot. Considering the Albanian motif I divided the exhibition into four cycles, the cycle of portrait, the cycle of beautiful Albanian landscape, composition of different elements based on the Albanian motif and the very important folklore cycle.” The exhibition at the National Museum of History will remain open until June 10.
