TIRANA, Nov 24 – Albanians pay some 30 leks more per liter of their fuel.
At a time that oil price in the world has triple reduced that is not reflected at all in the tiny Balkan country, where people pay 130 leks per liter, or some 30 leks more than they should do according to world prices, experts say.
The price fall in the country has been reduced only some 30 percent.
Gjergj Buxhuku of the Konfindustria business association said that Albanian customers also suffered from the lack of the proper quality of fuel compared to the price they pay, and also not correct measurement of the amount they buy at the fuel stations.
That has been acknowledged by the government as well that has started to fine fuel stations for hiding the proper price they buy and sell fuel.
That move was strongly rejected by fuel businesses that have turned their eyes on the courts to resolve that.
