‘All About These… Ladies and Gentlemen’

TIRANA, March 11 – After its display in Istanbul, the “All About These… Ladies and Gentlemen”, exhibition curated by Berlin-based, Albanian artist Fani Zguro, has travelled to Albania where it will be displayed for ten days at the National Art Gallery in Tirana.
Eight internationally renowned Albanian contemporary artists have been selected in the video-screening exhibition after its display in Istanbul’s Pilot gallery. The “All About These… Ladies and Gentlemen”, exhibition brings together Anri Sala, Adrian Paci, Artan Shabani, Alban Muja, Alban Hajdinaj, Armando Lulaj, Eltjon Valle and Helidon Xhixha. Some 80 artists from all around the world will introduce their video projects at the National Art Gallery from March 10 to 20. The exhibition that got started at Viafarini Milan in 2013 is a project that keeps on and changing in time. In every new presentation, new artists and videos will be introduced. The structure remains the same, while the information is replaced with other dates.
“Once I used to watch the movies of Ingmar Bergman, now I paste notes taken from E-flux and Art-agenda. ‘All About These … Ladies and Gentlemen’ is nothing but an illustration of the images that set these notes in motion,” says Fani Zguro, the curator of the exhibition.
