Ambassador to Albania nomination sent to U.S. Senate

Tirana, July 14 – U.S. President Barack Obama has sent to the Senate the nominations for several diplomatic posts, including that of Alexander A. Arvizu who is to come to Tirana later this year.
Arvizu, of Virginia, a is a career member of the Foreign Service and will be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Albania to replace John L. Withers who leaves the post by the end of summer time.
