AMC awards scholarships for best students

TIRANA, Nov. 28 – Mobile operator AMC has awarded scholarships for the best university freshmen. It’s a decade now since AMC has been supporting fifteen of the best high-school students enrolling in universities, giving them a helping hand in their first steps into the academic world.
In a special ceremony organized on the company premises last week, the students were received by AMC CEO, Dimitris Blatsios who encouraged them to be the best professionals of the future, as they are now the best students.
“I feel good to see and meet the future of Albania. I think that it’s bright students like you the country should count on. Hopefully we will see some of you moving the country forward, take important positions not only in the public administration but also in companies. One thing that I can say to you is follow your dreams,” said AMC’s Blatsios.
The AMC scholarships cover the whole period of university studies, provided that the students remain committed to school and continue with excellent results. Many of the students involved in this program are supported by AMC each year due to their academic performance– being offered internships and employment opportunities in the company.
