AMC, “Messages of Love” to disabled children

TIRANA, Jan. 9 – It’s the fourth year AMC has launched the “Messages of Hope” initiative. As the tradition goes, a considerable part of the revenues raised from the SMS customers sent on New Year’s Eve, from 20:00 of 31 December till 8:00 of 1 January, were donated to a children’s institution. This time it was “Luigj Gurakuqi” special school of children with disabilities aged from 6 to18 years old.
AMC had invited its customers to send their New Year’s wishes through SMSs and bring joy to people in need. During previous years, funds raised from this awareness campaign went to organizations dealing with autistic children, to the Oncology Department of the Pediatrics Hospital, and to the Institute for Hearing Impaired Students in Tirana.
“Messages of Hope” is part of AMC’s social responsibility campaign aimed at helping and supporting people who take care of children in need throughout Albania.
