ARTOC Group considering investments in Albania

TIRANA, June 8 – ARTOC Group for Investment & Development, an Egyptian company that invests in real estate and industry, is considering investments in the U.S. and the U.K. in the next few months and also debating spending money in Albania, Armenia, and Montenegro on industries including tourism and airport development, ARTOC Chairman Shafik Gabr said.
“It’s a change in strategy because opportunities are presenting themselves that were not on the table two, three years ago,” Gabr said of his investment plans in the U.S. and U.K.
ARTOC has interests in industries such as pharmaceuticals and steel in emerging markets.
