TIRANA, Jan. 23 – Austrian pianist Karl Eichinger will be the special guest of the new season of concerts by the symphonic orchestra of the Albania public broadcaster. The Austrian virtuoso will be performing in Tirana in the evening of January 31 in a concert at the University of Arts. His program includes parts from Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin. The pianist’s performance is made possible by the Austrian embassy in Tirana.
Born in Austria, Karl Eichinger, 48, is a pianist with the Ensemble “Wiener Instrumentalsolisten” (Vienna Symphony Virtuosi). Over the years, he has gained considerable experience as soloist, chamber musician.
