Basha tries to convince Libya to recognize Kosova

TIRANA, March 10 – Albanian Foreign Minister Lulzim Basha made a visit to Libya last week to try to convince its leader and government to recognize Kosova. Libya, as a member of the UN Security Council, maintains a strong influence among Arab countries.
Basha met with Libyan leader Moammar Abu Minyar al-Qadhafi and other top officials during his visit.
They also discussed developing stronger economic collaboration between the two countries. Other consultation among experts of both countries are planned to create different bilateral initiatives. (Tirana Times Staff)
