TIRANA, August 3 – Two British experts from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst were in Albania this week to deliver a course at the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), the British embassy said in a statement. The course instructed 14 Albanian junior officers in the “Psychology of Leadership”, drawing on many years of British military experience in demanding conditions. This was the first direct link between TRADOC and its British counterpart. It was also an opportunity for participants to hone their English – a crucial skill for serving in multi-national operations such as that in Afghanistan.
British Ambassador to Albania, Fiona McIlwham paid her first visit to TRADOC on Tuesday, with Defense Attach顃olonel Bob Barnes.
