Calik’s Eagle mobile to operate in Albania as of March

TIRANA, Feb. 1 – Turkish media continues to report that GSM operator Eagle Mobile, a subsidiary of Albania’s telecommunications firm ALBTelecom, will become operational this March.
Turkish Calik Group owns 76 percent of the shares of ALBTelecom.
The Eagle Mobile company will initially offer service in Tirana and Durres by March 13th, adding that by the summer of 2008 their service will cover the entire country. Eagle Mobile has said it will provide customers with the latest technology including linking cellular phones to the internet.
