TIRANA, Oct 7ؔirex Resources Ltd., a Canada-based minerals explorer and developer, announced that a second drill will begin turning at the company’s Mirdita District site in Albania.
The second drill will test East Slope Trend anomalies with a focus on new discoveries and will be turning within one week.
The East Slope Trend has never been drilled and has never been the subject of any previous modern and systematic exploration, the company said.
Tirex Resources recently expanded use of the land at Mirdita by 57% to 553 sq km. It is currently drilling in the Letitna section, which has significant tonnage potential with strong copper, zinc, gold and silver mineralization.
Tirex Resources Ltd owns Tirex Explorations Sh.p.k. (Tirex Albania), which was created to explore and develop the Mirdita property located 70km north of the capital city of Tirana. The property contains deposits of copper, zinc, gold and silver.
