Construction affected by the world crisis

TIRANA, Jan 20 – Construction in Albania appears to be responding to the negative effects of the world crisis.
Construction is one of the main sectors in the country, responsible for 23 percent of the country’s GDP. However, those in the construction industry now lack funds for projects. This has been caused, largely, by an inability to obtain financing from the nation’s banks.
Further harming the industry has been the fall in demand for new apartments.
