TIRANA, Feb. 15 – Police in the western port city of Durres seized 110 kilograms of marijuana destined to be taken to Italy.
In collaboration with Swiss counterparts, on Monday police at the Durres port stopped a Macedonian-number plate truck owned by a Macedonian. It is believed the truck would first go to Italy and then to Switzerland.
Five other persons from Kosovo, two of them residents in Switzerland, were also arrested.
