TIRANA, Dec. 10 – Albania’s mobile operator Eagle Mobile made another offer to clients and potential clients ahead of the New Year festivities.
On the eve of holidays, when everyone wants to significantly increase the mobile communication, Eagle Mobile, one of the three mobile operators in the country, has intended to further facilitate the communication to all its prepaid subscribers, the company said.
It has clearly shown how to surprise every customer by meeting their basic needs of communication with its last offer.
On November 29 Eagle, Eagle Mobile launched the new bid which enables each prepaid User to benefit unlimited free calls within the Eagle Mobile network, and free 20 minutes to other national operators.
With the latest offer of Eagle Mobile all the Albanians have the opportunity to break new records of their phone calls to wish the year-end holidays to as many relatives and friends as they can.
The user have to make the registration by sending a text SMS to the 55200 “Rekord” or any other word different from Balance/Balanc/ balanca). The minimum credit in the user’s account must be at least 500 Lek. The offer is valid for 7 days from the moment of activation, while to reactivate the bid the user must wait the offer to be terminated. Free minutes on account of beneficiaries can be controlled by sending a free SMS with containing the text “balance” to 55200.
Free minutes towards national numbers can be consumed to fixed numbers of operators or other operators according to the need. After 30 seconds of each call, the consumption of free minutes to national operators is calculated per 10 seconds. After the national minutes, the user passes to the previous respective tariff program. The completion of the bid will be informed by an SMS. Prepaid programs (where Riniring is included) will be active only after the expiration of the validity of free minutes provided by the latest offer to be used towards Eagle numbers or national numbers operators.
Eagle Mobile is the newest operator of mobile telephony in Albania, established on October 23rd 2003 from the Albanian government as integral part of the operator of fixed telephony in Albania, Albtelecom. The privatization started in 2005 and was finalized on September 28, 2007 when one of the biggest companies in Turkey ȡlik Group purchased 76% of the shares along with its partner Turk Telekom. The other part of shares 24% belong to the Albanian government.
Eagle Mobile entered in the Albanian market of telecommunication on March 12, 2008. On December 31st, 2008, the company attained coverage by 97% of the population of the country and 90,7% of the territory of the country by providing services in the whole Albania. Over 250 employees have been employed in this company, whereas 150 other work for Eagle Mobile through the sub contractual companies. 95% of the employees are Albanians and only 5% of them are of Turkish, Swedish and Czech nationality.
More than one year after the entrance in the market, Eagle Mobile marks over 570 thousand subscribers.
