Eagle Reconfirms Support To Orphans

TIRANA, Sep. 29 – Eagle Mobile has once again reaffirming the continuity of support through scholarships awarded to young orphans a year ago. The GSM company organized a lunch for 20 young orphans on the beginning of academic year 2010 – 2011. Ten high school students and ten students from different universities in the capital marked the beginning of the school with a symbolic meeting with Eagle Mobile and Albanian Children Foundation executives.
The lunch was attended by Ali Taskin CEO of Eagle Mobile, Liri Berisha Prime Minister’s wife and President of the Albanian Children Foundation and other directors of the Company and the Foundation.
CEO of Eagle Mobile z. Ali Taskin expressed the pleasure of this meeting with students and said that the high performance of these children means a better future for them. He has requested that these young people have to better use this opportunity by showing a better performance in education.
“Eagle Mobile will continue to support these young people after graduation, if they would show a good performance in school. We are investing in Albania, but this is the biggest investment the company made to the people,” said Taskin. He added that Liri Berisha has been all the time the supporter of social projects for Eagle Mobile, hence the invitation of her is very meaningful.
Meanwhile, Berisha thanked Eagle Mobile for social initiatives stressing that scholarships for these young resembles like a “golden passport” that guarantees the future, each of them will understand the value in the future.
“When I hear these young people, I better understand the importance of what is being done for them. Their future has changed,” said Mrs. Berisha.
On the other hand, the participant students expressed their satisfaction and gratitude to the company and Albanian Children Foundation. One of the students in this lunch Helena Dokaj said it would do her best to use this opportunity provided by Eagle Mobile.
“Eagle Mobile has not forgotten us, it has opened a bright window to the future, the window of education,” she added.
In the conclusion, Berisha and Taskin also distributed gifts to the students, mobile phones, school materials, etc..
Eagle Mobile in 2009 provided full scholarships to 20 orphan children, ten in best high schools and ten in different universities of the capital. These scholarships will continue until the end of the cycle for each student. The role of the company in support of orphan children has been not only active, but also inclusive for the other companies.
