ROME, April 15 – Albanian and Italian energy corporations signed Wednesday an energy deal in Rome “to help facilitate the efforts of the industrial sector and create new energy interconnections between the two shores of the Adriatic.”
The agreement between the two energy corporations will develop ‘in line with the agreements between Italy and Albania’ to facilitate industry initiatives, including those on new interconnections energy (electricity and gas) between the two shores of the Adriatic.
“The cooperation among international regulators is increasingly important for the regulatory frameworks towards creating a more stable and harmonized network, said ERE’s President Alessandro Ortis. That would promote investment in infrastructure, convenient cross-border trade and the integration of the energy markets.”
