Extraditions to and from Albania, arrests

TIRANA, May 2 – Aneda Kola, 32, was arrested last week in the Italian town of Grammichele Catania and will expect procedures to be extradited to Albania. In 2009 the Tirana district court has sentenced her to nine months imprisonment and a 400,000 leks fine for falsifying documentation.
Also last week Albania extradited to Austria German citizen named Wolfgang Manfred Schuster, 45, following an international arrest warrant issued from Austrian against him from the St. Poelten court. Schuster is accused of commercial deceit for nine penal acts with a total amount of 50,000 euros. He was arrested at the Morini border crossing point in northeastern Kukes.
Ilir Gabeta, 45, was arrested by the Greek police after an arrest warrant issued from the Librazhd district court. In 2004 he was sentenced to four years imprisonment after driving carelessly his car that hit a bus and consequently two persons died.
Albanian police also arrested at Qafe Morini border crossing point a Montenegrin named Djon Ljucovic, 39, wanted from his country where he was sentenced to three years and three months imprisonment.
