TIRANA, Nov. 19 – One of Albania’s biggest talent, hip-hop singer Florian Kondi known by his stage name Dr. Flori died this week apparently of a drugs overdose. Dr. Flori 35, a singer and songwriter was following a solo career after the split with his “West Side Family” band.
In 2007, their “Tirona” song with the then Tirana Mayor Edi Rama became a hit.
Friends, colleagues, fans and politicians expressed their condolences over the shocking and premature death of the singer.
Dr. Flori was a father of two, including a new-born son.
