TIRANA, April 18 – The flow of refugees escaping war and poverty in the Middle East has continued, as they enter Albania from Greece, aiming to head for Western Europe.

Albanian border police detain scores of migrants last weekend when they held 22 migrants from Syria.

They were stopped at the village of Glina, Gjirokastra district, several kilometers inside Albania, coming from neighboring Greece.

There were ten women and six children in the group. They were provided with food and medical care from the Albanian authorities, officials said.

They were later handed over to Greek authorities under an agreement between the two countries.
