French chamber music ensemble to perform in Albania

TIRANA, Sept. 21 – French chamber music ensemble “Des Equilibres” will be in Tirana on Friday, September 23to perform some of the best pieces from their repertoire.
Violinist Agnes Pyka, who is the ensemble’s founder in 2007 and cellist Edouard Sapey – Triomphe will be the duo performing early 20th century parts by Maurice Ravel, Zoltan Kodaly.
The concert scheduled for Friday at the Catholic Church in the Kavaja Street in Tirana is organized by the French embassy and the Syri Blu Association.
ʱuilibres was founded in 2006 as a cooperation of orchestral instrumentalists, conservatory teachers, soloists, and chamber musicians. Their artistic director is violinist Agn鳠Pyka.
Today the ensemble, in many forms, offers a great variety of programmes, ranging from the most curious and rare 18th-century chamber works to contemporary music.
One of their aims is to help the audiences discover the music of our days, and to that end some of the programmes are conceived in collaboration with contemporary artists including Belgian composer, choreographer and director Thierry de Mey and Fran谩s Ross顷hose Mukae was premiered by Des ʱuilibres and the composer at the piano.
During its five years of existence, the ensemble has been invited to several festivals in France, and has appeared in Paris, Marseille, Toulon, Alger, Budapest, Seville, as well as at international concert tours in Lebanon, Italy and Albania.
