TIRANA, March 10 – The Transport and Public Affairs Minister Sokol Olldashi publicly asked the construction companies in the country to lower the price of their buildings in order to soften the negative effects of the global financial crisis on the population.
The government said it considered such companies as important engines of the country’s economy.
Olldashi said they should offer reasonable prices based on a reasonable profit margin. That move would be supported by the authorities with favorable lower tax duties.
